Canyon to Coast

Rendez-Vous Café, located in the heart of the Village of Corona del Mar in Newport Beach is a truly authentic French bakery and café. The owners, Olivier and Nathalie, make everything from scratch with the freshest of ingredients and hail from Toulon, Provence – it doesn’t get more authentic than that! Every time I am there I am immediately transported to France by way of amazing flavors whether the Swiss cheese and homemade baguettes or savory crepe with buckwheat flour (healthy and delicious!).

It has become a weekend morning routine to head there and enjoy some breakfast and perhaps almond latte and then take a stroll along East Coast Highway window shopping the shops and boutiques and then heading down to Ocean Boulevard to walk along the gorgeous coast. I recently had Rendez-Vous cater a baby shower as well and they did such a wonderful job! Think mini baguette sandwiches, quiches and pastries. And Nathalie decorated the platters beautifully! This is where you go to get amazing food and a personal touch, voila!
