One Ford Road is a beautiful gated community located just south of San Diego Creek in Orange County, California.

The One Ford Road community is bordered by East Bluff to the west, Big Canyon to the south, and the University of California Irvine to the northeast.

Our Move To One Ford Road

We moved to One Ford Road in Newport Beach, just above Fashion Island, more than 3years ago.

We chose the One Ford Road neighborhood because of the sense of community it has and the wonderful family-centric amenities. And it has been a dream! Our girls ride their bikes to the park or pool (a short ride for all because the community was master-planned in one big loop with the main amenities at the center).

One Ford Road Community Features

One Ford Road's park was remodeled recently and has something for all ages.

• Basketball courts
• Beautiful gardens and paths
• A croquet court
• Two putting greens

The Olympic sized pool is awesome for swimming laps or recreational swimming and there is a huge wading pool for toddlers. The front lawn is an idyllic place to throw birthday parties. And then, of course, there is a comprehensive gym, additional pool, sports court, croquet court, rose gardens and more!

Best of all is that the neighborhood actually takes advantage of these awesome amenities. Just the other day when we were approaching 90 degrees, a neighbor called out for a pool day on the neighborhood blog and we all cooled down together!

The sense of community in Newport Beach's neighborhoods is really one of the best aspects of living here - which is really saying something!
