Urban Arts OC is a creative co-op art studio that offers classes for beginners and advanced artists alike. I recently started my toddler-aged twins in kids' art classes here - and it was a hit!

Urban Arts OC is conveniently located in Newport Beach, near the John Wayne Airport, just off the 73 freeway and Birch Street.

A few years ago, I went with a couple of friends to the Newport/Balboa Peninsula to rent stand up paddleboards to take out in Newport Harbor.

Newport Beach has a number of businesses for renting paddleboards, like:

That first paddleboarding journey was such a great experience, we went back again the following weekend. Stand up paddleboarding is such a fun marine activity and water sport. It gets you outside and exercising, all while enjoying Newport Beach from the cool water of the harbor.

It can be difficult to find youth soccer options for kids 4 years old or younger, especially since kids have to be at least 4 to play for AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization).

Good thing Newport Beach has Slammers FC, a soccer club that offers a great program for little kids as young as 3, and up to 6 years old.

Slammers FC's program for kids under 6 is called Baby Slammers, and is focused on having fun and preparing kids to move up into game's older divisions. And they take it seriously - uniforms and all - but still throw in the fun.
