North Italia is the hottest new restaurant in Irvine. It’s located within minutes from Shady Canyon, the most prestigious community in Irvine. The restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere. You can also enjoy dining al fresco near the open fireplace on the patio. I recommend starting off with one of their delicious hand crafted cocktails. The indoor - outdoor style bar is great place to start.

The menu features many dishes from Northern Italy. Some of my personal favorites include, the chef’s board, simple salad, spaghetti and meatballs and the salmon, but you really can’t go wrong with any item. My friends and I had arrived in Newport Beach, looking to soak up all that Orange County had to offer.  It was a picturesque Saturday evening in 2009, and we laid out our intentions clearly to our longtime friend whom we were visiting in the area: "just take us to the best this county has to offer".  We craved the bright lights, beautiful surroundings, and enchantment he had raved about so much.  "Perfect – We’re going to Javier’s" he said.

When you have small kids and are in a park exploration stage, it is so much fun to find a great park that is a must to return to. Enter Irvine Terrace Park. This place is amazing for kids and literally has it all! It is tucked away in the Irvine Terrace community in Corona Del Mar, just off of Pacific Coast Highway and blocks away from Fashion Island.
